Karachi to Get a New Flyover

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has begun preparations to construct a new flyover on Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road in Clifton as part of its efforts to improve traffic flow in the city.

The KMC Engineering Department issued a public notice on August 28 regarding the proposed flyover at Block 8, Clifton, District South, adjacent to the Saylani Welfare Trust. The project aims to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and provide safer and better transportation for the public.

The development comes under the leadership of Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, who has announced plans for additional flyovers and other major infrastructure projects across the city.

The KMC has invited concerned departments, agencies, organizations and property owners to submit their observations or objections regarding the proposed construction.

Interested parties can submit their comments to the office of the Chief Engineer, Bridges, Underpasses and Flyovers, Engineering Department, KMC, within seven days of the notice’s publication. The KMC will not consider objections or comments that parties submit after the seven day deadline.
