HEC Warns Students Against Fake Attestation Agents

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has warned applicants against individuals posing as “attestation agents” and offering to help them get educational documents attested.
In a public alert, HEC said it had received information about individuals claiming to provide such services to applicants. The commission advised people to exercise caution and avoid sharing personal or educational information with such individuals to protect themselves from potential fraud.
HEC said its attestation process is completely online and paperless, allowing applicants to complete the process themselves through the commission’s official system.

The commission strongly advised applicants to personally process their attestation cases by following the instructions available on the HEC website.
HEC also provided its online help desk and contact numbers for applicants seeking assistance with the attestation process.
