Punjab Schools to Teach Social Skills to Students

The Punjab government has decided to introduce social skills training in government schools across the province, with the School Education Department issuing a dedicated curriculum for the program.

According to the department, schools will hold regular classes and practical activities to teach students important social skills and positive behaviors.

The program will focus on developing discipline, responsibility, cooperation and positive social attitudes among students.

Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said education was no longer limited to classroom learning and textbooks. He said developing positive habits and social skills would help students become responsible, well-mannered and better citizens in the future.
