The Punjab Education Department has extended the deadline for candidates applying for permanent principal positions in colleges across the province, including Lahore.
Under the fourth phase of the appointment process, permanent principals will be appointed to 100 colleges across Punjab. Both male and female candidates will be considered for the vacant positions.
The department has now extended the deadline for submitting applications to September 1, 2026. Candidates will be able to submit their applications until the revised deadline.
The latest extension is part of the Punjab government’s ongoing effort to fill vacant principal positions and improve the administrative management of government colleges.
The appointments are expected to provide permanent leadership to colleges currently operating without regular principals and help improve academic and administrative oversight.
The Education Department has advised eligible candidates interested in the positions to complete and submit their applications before the revised deadline.
