The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme gives eligible remittance beneficiaries a chance to win cash prizes of up to Rs. 10 crore by receiving overseas remittances through a bank account.
The scheme has a total annual prize pool of Rs. 16 billion, with 2,521 prizes worth Rs. 4 billion distributed every quarter. Here is how the scheme works and how you can qualify.
How to Qualify
A beneficiary must receive a home remittance equivalent to at least $100 every month for three consecutive months within a quarter.
The remittances must be received in a bank account through formal banking channels.
For example, receiving at least $100 in October, November, and December makes the beneficiary eligible for the quarterly draw covering that period.
How to Earn Entry Numbers
Eligible beneficiaries receive digital, non-transferable entry numbers based on the amount of remittance received each month.
A $100 remittance earns one entry number, provided the beneficiary meets the three-month consecutive remittance requirement.
Higher remittances generate more entries in proportion to the amount received.
For example, receiving $100 in October, $200 in November, and $300 in December would generate six entries in total:

How Much Can You Win?
Each Quarterly draw will distribute 2,521 cash prizes worth Rs. 4 billion.

The Rs. 10 lac prize will be awarded to 2,400 beneficiaries in every quarterly draw. Over four draws, this means 9,600 beneficiaries can win Rs. 10 lac each in one year.
Overall, more than 10,000 beneficiaries will receive prizes annually, with the total annual prize pool reaching Rs. 16 billion.
When is the First Draw?
The first draw will be held on January 15, 2027, and will cover eligible remittances received from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
The draws will take place every quarter through a fully digital and auditable process.
Which Countries are Covered?
The quarterly prizes will be distributed according to major remittance regions:

The Rs. 10 crore first prize will be open to beneficiaries receiving remittances from all regions.
Is there any fee to enter?
No. Participation in the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme is free.
Eligible beneficiaries will not have to pay a fee, buy a ticket, maintain a minimum balance, or make any other payment to participate.
When will the winners be announced?
Draw results will be made public on the scheme’s dedicated webpage, as well as on the official websites and social media accounts of participating banks and the Pakistan Banks Association.
To maximize eligibility, beneficiaries should ensure that qualifying remittances of at least $100 are received through a bank account in three consecutive months within the relevant quarter.
