Private security guards allegedly fired shots during a protest at a private university in Hayatabad, creating panic among students.

The firing sparked fear and concern among the students, who were alarmed by the incident.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Hayatabad and the Station House Officer of Hayatabad police station reached the scene with a heavy contingent soon after receiving information.
Police said the situation was brought under control and legal action would be taken against those responsible.
According to police, the guards fired in the air to disperse the protesting students.
Police added that no one was injured in the incident and the protesting students dispersed after the firing.
