Pakistan’s trade deficit worsened in July 2026, according to data shared by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS),
Pakistan reported a trade deficit of $4 billion in July 2026, up by 25 percent year-on-year (YoY) but down 15 percent month-on-month (MoM).
In the first month of fiscal year 2026-27, imports stood at $6.9 billion, up 18 percent YoY and flat MoM.
Exports increased to $2.9 billion, up 10 percent YoY and 31 percent MoM.
