Tamasha Secures Streaming Rights from PCB for Pakistan’s 2026–27 Home Cricket Season

Tamasha, Jazz Lifestyle Venture’s homegrown digital streaming platform, has secured the digital streaming rights for Pakistan’s home international cricket season from October 2026 through March 2027, bringing six months of Pakistan cricket to fans through a single digital platform.

The six-month calendar will feature 25 international matches — five Tests, 14 ODIs and six T20Is — as Pakistan hosts Sri Lanka, England, Ireland, Zimbabwe and New Zealand. The package covers all three formats, giving fans an extended run of international cricket spanning bilateral series, multi-team contests and Test matches.

The season will begin on October 9 with a three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, followed by the Pakistan–England–Sri Lanka ODI tri-series starting from October 18. The fixtures will mark the beginning of an extended home calendar that runs through March 2027.

“Cricket is more than a sport in Pakistan; it is a shared cultural experience. Jazz Lifestyle Ventures has long been committed to bringing the game closer to fans through our strong relationship with the PCB, on-ground presence and digital platforms. As Tamasha continues to expand its sports and entertainment offering, bringing Pakistan’s six-month home international season to the platform further strengthens our commitment to giving audiences across Pakistan access to the content they enjoy, from major sporting moments to dramas, reality shows, news and other entertainment,” said Ali Fahd, President, Jazz Lifestyle Ventures.

The acquisition further strengthens Tamasha’s broader entertainment proposition, which extends beyond live sports to cater to a wide range of viewing interests. Alongside its growing sports offering, the platform brings together a diverse range of entertainment options, including dramas, reality TV shows, news and other television content, giving audiences access to a broader mix of programming through a single digital platform.

Moreover, the platform has given audiences access to sports including football, tennis, hockey, boxing, wrestling, kabaddi and athletics. The platform’s cricket offering spans international and domestic competitions, giving fans access to the sport across different formats, tournaments and levels of competition. The addition of Pakistan’s upcoming home international season further expands this offering, providing an extended calendar of live cricket throughout the year.

For audiences, the upcoming season brings together the different dimensions of international cricket, from the endurance and tradition of Test matches to the faster pace of ODIs and T20Is, while Tamasha’s wider entertainment and sports portfolio continues to give viewers more ways to watch the content they enjoy.

With its expanding mix of live sports, television entertainment, news and other digital content, Tamasha is building a broader digital entertainment portfolio designed to bring more of Pakistan’s most watched and followed content closer to audiences across the country.
