Sindh Police Announces New Jobs

Sindh Police has announced fresh recruitment for 139 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) posts in BPS-11.

The vacancies fall under the Shaheed, Deceased and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota. Only eligible legal heirs of Sindh Police employees covered by these categories can apply.

Sindh Police issued the latest recruitment notice as an addendum to advertisements published on April 28, 2024. The earlier process was stopped following a Supreme Court judgment and has now resumed under the relevant government notification.

Who Can Apply for Sindh Police ASI Jobs?

These vacancies are not available under the general or open-merit category. Sindh Police will only consider applications from eligible legal heirs under the specified quota.

Legal heirs of deceased or permanently invalidated or incapacitated police employees can apply if the employee died or became permanently incapacitated on or before September 26, 2024. Applicants must hold a Sindh domicile and meet all other conditions.

Legal heirs of Shaheed Police employees can apply if the employee attained martyrdom by the closing date of the advertisement. The applicant must hold the domicile of the relevant Sindh Police range.

Sindh Police will consider all claims under the Shaheed, Deceased and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota Recruitment Rules, 2021.

The department will fill the reserved posts by giving priority to the Shaheed category, followed by the Deceased and Permanently Incapacitated categories.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have completed graduation with at least Second Division from a recognized university.

Sindh Police will not offer any relaxation in the required qualification or other eligibility conditions. Candidates who do not meet the stated criteria should not submit an application.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years old on the closing date for online applications.

The department will calculate the applicant’s age as of October 15, 2026. No upper-age relaxation will be allowed.

Physical Standards for Male Candidates

Male applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches.

They must also have a chest measurement of at least 33 inches with an expansion of 1.5 inches.

Physical Standards for Female Candidates

Female applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet.

The advertisement also requires female candidates to be in sound health.

Sindh Police will not grant any relaxation in the prescribed height, chest or physical requirements.

Physical Endurance Test

Male candidates must complete a 1,600-metre run within eight minutes.

Female candidates must complete an 800-metre walk within 14 minutes.

Only candidates who pass the physical test will move to the written examination conducted by SIBA Testing Services.

Application Fee

Applicants must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,500.

After completing the online form, candidates can download a system-generated challan. They may pay the fee at any Allied Bank Limited branch or through the myABL application.

Candidates may also use the 1Bill reference number to make the payment through the online banking service of any bank connected with 1Bill.

Documents Required

Candidates must upload the documents relevant to their quota category. The advertisement lists the following records:

Applicants should upload clear and accurate copies of all required records. Sindh Police will verify the original certificates of candidates called for a test or interview.

Any incorrect document or false statement may result in immediate disqualification. The department may also terminate an appointment if it discovers false or misleading information later.

How to Apply for Sindh Police ASI Jobs

Candidates must visit the official SIBA Testing Services candidate portal and create an account or sign in to an existing account.

They should open the Sindh Police ASI recruitment listing and complete the online application form. Applicants must enter accurate personal, academic, domicile and quota-related information.

After completing the form, candidates should upload the required documents and generate the Rs. 1,500 fee challan. They must then pay the processing fee through one of the methods listed in the advertisement.

Candidates should review the application before final submission. They should also save their application record and payment confirmation.

Sindh Police will not accept applications submitted by hand, courier or any method other than the STS online portal.

Selection Process

SIBA Testing Services will conduct the physical and written examinations.

Candidates who pass the physical test will receive calls for the written test. Sindh Police will inform applicants about test dates, times and venues through online updates and SMS alerts.

Applicants should regularly check the STS website and candidate portal for roll number slips, test announcements, results and other notices.

The department will make appointments after checking eligibility, documents, quota claims and performance in the required selection stages.
