Sindh Approves New Recruitment Rules for All Educational Boards

The Sindh government has decided to implement the 2026 recruitment rules approved by the provincial Cabinet across all educational boards in the province.

The rules will be formally enforced after being published in the official government gazette.

The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, where officials reviewed the performance and administration of educational boards, examination matters, and ongoing digitalization efforts.

As part of the reforms, the meeting approved the immediate recruitment of IT specialists to support e-marking and digitalization across educational boards.

Boards have been directed to recruit professionals for key positions, including director of IT, website developer, system administrator, and network security administrator.

Officials were also instructed to prepare seniority lists of employees across all educational boards without delay.

The meeting further directed authorities to improve fire-safety arrangements in board buildings and strengthen administrative procedures.

Separate recruitment rules for the Technical Education Board are also expected to be finalized soon.

In addition, the meeting decided to award certificates to board chairpersons who ensured the timely conduct of examinations and the prompt announcement of results.

The provincial government said the measures are aimed at improving administrative efficiency, promoting the use of modern technology, and ensuring greater transparency in recruitment and examination-related processes.
