SBP Reserves Gain $15 Million

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves witnessed an increase during the week ended October 2, 2026.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), its foreign exchange reserves rose by $15 million over the week to $21.454 billion, up from $21.439 billion a week earlier.

The country’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at $26.797 billion as of October 2, up by $27 million.

This includes $21.454 billion held by the SBP and $5.344 billion maintained by commercial banks.

Reserves with commercial banks are up by $12 million compared to a week earlier.

The current dollar reserves can cover imports for 3.04 months.
