SBP Reserves Down by $229 Million

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves witnessed a decrease during the week ended July 24, 2026.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), its foreign exchange reserves fell by $229 million over the week to $17.03 billion, down from $17.259 billion a week earlier.

The country’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at $22.442 billion as of July 24.

This includes $17.030 billion held by the SBP and $5.412 billion maintained by commercial banks.
