Sazgar is preparing to launch Arcfox in Pakistan, adding a third Chinese automotive brand to its portfolio alongside GWM and BAIC.
The company plans to introduce two Arcfox models initially: the T1 EV and the T5 REEV.
Arcfox Samples Are Coming Soon
News of the planned launch first emerged through a social media post claiming that Sazgar would introduce the two Arcfox models in Pakistan.
Sazgar’s senior management later confirmed the development and said vehicle samples are expected to arrive in around 10 days.
The company originally planned to display the vehicles at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026, but shipping delays prevented them from arriving in time.
Sazgar has not yet announced an official launch, unveiling, booking, or pricing date.
What Is Arcfox?
Arcfox is a Chinese new-energy vehicle brand owned by BAIC Group, one of China’s major state-owned automotive groups.
The company established Arcfox in 2017, while the brand made its international debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
Arcfox was developed for the higher-end technology-focused vehicle market. Its vehicles are co-engineered with Canadian manufacturing company Magna and use smart-cabin and autonomous-driving technologies powered by Huawei.
The brand is currently expanding beyond China into the Middle East, Europe, and South Asia, with Pakistan now among its target markets.
Arcfox is not connected to GWM. BAIC owns Arcfox, while GWM and BAIC operate as separate companies internationally.
Sazgar happens to assemble and sell vehicles from both BAIC and GWM in Pakistan. As a result, Arcfox vehicles will follow a different design language and product philosophy from GWM models.
Arcfox T1 EV
The Arcfox T1 is a subcompact electric hatchback/crossover.
In Pakistan, it would compete with affordable EVs including the BYD Atto 2, MG4 EV, and Dongfeng Vigo.
The T1 uses a single electric motor driving the front wheels and relies entirely on battery power, with no petrol-powered backup.

Arcfox T5 REEV
The Arcfox T5 REEV is a mid-size SUV that combines an electric drivetrain with a 1.5-liter petrol range extender.
The petrol engine is used only to generate electricity for the battery and does not directly drive the wheels.
This allows the T5 REEV to operate like an electric vehicle while extending its overall driving range.
In Pakistan, it would compete with range-extended and plug-in SUVs already available locally, including the Deepal S05 and Forthing Friday.

When Will Arcfox Launch in Pakistan?
Sazgar has not announced an official launch date for either model.
For now, the only confirmed timeline is that samples of the Arcfox T1 EV and T5 REEV are expected to arrive in around 10 days.
Both vehicles were originally planned for display at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026, but their shipment was delayed.
Sazgar has also not announced prices, booking details, or a new unveiling date for either vehicle.
