The lesson also claims that the group’s ultimate objective is to seize political power.
The Saudi textbook goes further by connecting extremist and terrorist organizations with the Muslim Brotherhood.
It states that extremist terrorist groups operating under the Muslim Brotherhood have caused widespread damage within countries and among their populations.
According to the lesson, these groups have “wreaked havoc in the country and among the people” through acts of violence.
The textbook also says their violent crimes have taken place around the world.
The wording is significant because it introduces Saudi students to the government’s position on the Muslim Brotherhood at the school level, presenting the movement as both religiously misguided and politically destabilizing.
