S.G. Power Limited has officially changed its name to Crestwell Healthcare Limited after receiving approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), marking another milestone in the company’s transition toward the healthcare sector.
The company said the SECP approved the name change and issued the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Company Name, effective August 6, 2026. It has also submitted an application to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to update its listed name in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The company further said its previously submitted application to change its listed sector classification from Power Generation and Distribution to the Pharmaceutical sector remains under review by the PSX.
It said the proposed reclassification forms part of its broader strategic transformation into a healthcare focused business.
Crestwell Healthcare said it will continue to keep shareholders and the market informed of any further material developments in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
