The Punjab Police has increased the educational stipend for autistic children of its employees from Rs30,000 to Rs75,000 following directives from the Inspector General of Punjab Police.
According to officials, the increase is intended to support the education and development of children with autism and provide them with better opportunities to continue their studies.
Punjab Police said the welfare of its personnel and their families remains a priority.
It added that initiatives such as the enhanced stipend are meant to help employees’ children access better educational and developmental opportunities.
