Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced 30 Intelligence Officer vacancies in the Special Branch of Punjab Police under Advertisement No. 11/2026.
These posts are in BS-14 and will be filled on a two-year contract, which may be extended. Successful candidates can be posted anywhere in Punjab. Applications will remain open until October 26, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants can qualify through one of two routes. A candidate with a second-division graduation degree from an HEC-recognized university can apply if they also have basic computer knowledge.
PPSC will also consider graduates with five years of experience in the Intelligence Wing of a law-enforcement agency.
Only practical experience gained after completing the required qualification will count.
Age Limit
Male applicants can apply between the ages of 21 and 35 years. PPSC allows a five-year general relaxation, taking the maximum age to 40 years.
Female candidates also have a basic age limit of 21 to 35 years, with eight years of relaxation. Their maximum age therefore reaches 43 years.
For transgender candidates, PPSC will determine age and gender according to the details recorded on their CNIC.
Written Test Syllabus
PPSC will conduct a 100-mark MCQ-based test for the Intelligence Officer posts. Candidates will get 90 minutes to complete the paper.
Around 80% of the test will cover general ability subjects, including General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Islamic Studies.
Non-Muslim candidates will receive general knowledge questions instead of Islamic Studies. The remaining 20% will cover Basic Computer Studies.
