Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that Lahore will host Basant again in 2027, following the successful celebration of the festival in 2026.
In a statement, Maryam Nawaz announced that Basant Lahore 2027 will take place from March 12 to 14, 2027.
The chief minister said Lahore will once again host celebrations featuring colors, culture, music and festivities. She also invited young people from Punjab and across Pakistan to participate in the event and create memories during the three day celebration.
Maryam Nawaz also invited overseas Pakistanis and international visitors to come to Lahore and experience the city’s festivities and hospitality.

She expressed hope that Basant 2027 would become another successful and memorable celebration. The announcement comes after Punjab hosted Basant celebrations in 2026.
