The Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) has opened applications for the 22nd P@SHA ICT Awards, inviting companies, startups, public sector organizations, and students to compete across 10 major technology categories.
The awards will serve as Pakistan’s official gateway to the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2026, where winners and runners-up will represent the country against participants from 17 member economies at the international competition in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Dr. Shoab Ahmad Khan, Chair of the P@SHA ICT Awards Committee, said the categories have been designed to provide opportunities for startups, established companies, public sector entities, and student innovators across Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
Categories
Consumer: Products and solutions that engage or empower consumer choice, including FinTech, marketplaces, media & entertainment, and retail.
Inclusion & Community Services: Solutions improving access to health, education, and underserved communities.
Industrial: Automation and technology for manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and logistics.
Business Services: B2B solutions across finance, ICT services, security, and marketing.
Public Sector: Digital government and citizen service innovations.
Students: Outstanding digital projects from junior, senior, and tertiary-level students.
Services: Organizational excellence in export growth, BPO, CSR, and gender diversity.
Game of the Year: Innovative game development with a proven track record.
Technology (optional cross-entry): Solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, or IoT.
Cross Category (optional cross-entry): Startups and research & development innovations.
Last Year’s Winners Went to Chinese Taipei – This Year, It’s Jakarta
For the 2026 cycle, applications will close on August 10, followed by judging in August, the awards ceremony in September, and the APICTA Awards in Jakarta in December 2026.
