Private schools recorded a significantly higher pass percentage than government schools in the BISE Faisalabad 9th Class Result 2026.
An analysis of the official result gazette shows that 72.68% of regular candidates from private schools passed the examination. The pass percentage for government-school candidates stood at 45.49%.
Private schools, therefore, led government schools by 27.19 percentage points.
However, government schools produced more successful candidates in absolute numbers because they had more than twice as many students appearing in the examination.
Private vs. Government Schools Result
A total of 113,502 regular candidates from government schools appeared in the SSC Part-I First Annual Examination. Of these, 51,637 passed, while 61,865 secured less than 33%.
Private schools had 54,711 candidates, of whom 39,762 passed. The remaining 14,949 obtained less than 33%.

Private schools achieved the stronger pass rate, but government schools recorded 11,875 more successful candidates due to their substantially larger student population.
The comparison covers regular candidates enrolled in government and private institutions. It does not include independent private candidates.
District-Wise School Performance
Private schools recorded a higher pass percentage in all four districts under BISE Faisalabad.

Girls Outperformed Boys in Both Sectors
Female candidates achieved higher pass percentages than male candidates in both government and private schools.
Private-school girls recorded the strongest performance. Of the 27,533 female candidates who appeared, 21,944 passed, producing a pass percentage of 79.70%.
The pass percentage for male candidates from private schools stood at 65.56%.
Government-school girls achieved a pass percentage of 50.92%, compared with 39.31% for boys.

Who Performed Better?
Private schools clearly dominated the BISE Faisalabad 9th Class Result 2026 when performance is measured by pass percentage.
They maintained a lead in Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot. Private-school girls emerged as the strongest-performing category, with nearly eight out of every ten candidates passing.
Government schools still accounted for the largest number of candidates and produced more successful students overall. However, their pass percentage remained substantially below that of private institutions.
