Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday strongly condemned the Houthis bombing of energy facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Houthis, also known by their popular arab name ‘Ansar Allah’, are part of an Islamic movement in Yemen.
The prime minister said the attacks injured several people and put innocent lives at risk.
“Such dastardly attacks threaten innocent lives as well as regional peace and security. We reaffirm our steadfast support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and pray for the swift recovery of all those injured,” he said.
PM Shehbaz expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people, reaffirming Pakistan’s support for the country’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attacks.
