Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has finalized the appointment of a new Chief Information Technology Officer as the national carrier continues its administrative reforms and restructuring efforts.
Meanwhile, the selection process for PIA’s new Chief Executive Officer has also reached its final stage.
PIA management has completed the selection process for the key position. The newly appointed IT chief is expected to join the airline and take charge in September.
The appointment is part of PIA’s efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and improve operational and administrative efficiency by bringing experienced professionals into key positions.
Interviews with several industry professionals with extensive commercial aviation experience have been completed for the top position. PIA is expected to formally announce the new CEO soon.
