The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has ended its association with Trans Group and signed a new three-year production agreement with Al Batal Productions & Technologies / S.M. Textiles for its domestic cricket competitions.
The deal covers the 2026-27, 2027-28, and 2028-29 seasons and includes Domestic Series Partnership rights as well as television production rights for PCB’s men’s and women’s domestic events.
Under the new agreement, Al Batal Productions will take over television broadcast and digital live-streaming production across PCB’s domestic cricket calendar until 2029, bringing a new production setup to Pakistan’s domestic circuit.
The partnership is part of PCB’s efforts to improve the quality, reach, presentation, and commercial value of domestic cricket while giving greater visibility to both established and emerging players across the country’s leading competitions.
The new production arrangement will come into effect with PCB’s first domestic event of the 2026-27 season, the four-team National Champions Cup, which begins in Multan on Tuesday, August 11.
PCB said the agreement reflects its continued focus on improving production standards and delivering a better viewing experience for cricket fans.
The board is also looking to build a stronger commercial and broadcast ecosystem around domestic cricket while creating sustainable opportunities for commercial partners to associate with Pakistan cricket.
