Pakistan’s First Fruit Exporter Plans PSX Listing to Tap Export Boom

SE Fruits and Vegetable Limited, a Sargodha-based exporter of Kinnow, mangoes, and potatoes, is preparing to become the first fresh fruit and vegetable exporter to list on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, a landmark debut for the country’s agricultural sector.

The company plans to raise between Rs. 1.2 billion and Rs. 1.9 billion by offering 30 million shares at a price band of Rs. 40 to Rs. 64 per share, according to details of the proposed initial public offering.

Proceeds from the listing will be directed toward strengthening working capital, expanding processing capacity, upgrading cold-chain infrastructure, and procuring larger crop volumes to meet rising international demand, the company said.

SE Fruits exports premium produce to markets across the Middle East, Central Asia, the Far East, Europe, and Australia, leveraging its base in Sargodha, the heart of Pakistan’s citrus belt.

“The listing will provide investors with a unique opportunity to participate in Pakistan’s growing agriculture export sector while supporting value addition, exports, and sustainable economic growth,” said an official at Topline Securities, which is serving as consultant to the IPO alongside Growth Securities.

The offering marks a rare agricultural listing on the PSX, where financials, energy, and materials stocks have traditionally dominated.

Pakistan’s fruit and vegetable exports have gained traction in recent years as growers invest in better grading, packing, and cold-chain logistics to meet the quality standards of premium international markets.
