Pakistan Railways to Restore 2 More Trains

Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced plans to restore two more train services as part of the government’s efforts to revive suspended railway operations.

The Mohenjo Daro Express will resume service on September 15, while Pakistan Railways will launch a train between Sialkot and Rawalpindi on October 15.

The railway administration has received instructions to take all necessary measures to restore both services on the announced dates.

Abbasi said Pakistan Railways would restore all suspended trains in phases, with the department working to bring more services back into operation.

He also said work on the Main Line-1 (ML-1) project had entered its final stage of planning. According to the minister, the project will bring major changes to Pakistan’s railway system.
