Pakistan’s imports from Iran rose 17 percent year-on-year to $248 million during the first two months of the fiscal year despite 2026-27 regional uncertainty.
Imports stood at $212 million during July-August of the previous fiscal year, showing an increase of $36 million this year.
During fiscal year 2025-26, Pakistan imported goods worth $1.395 billion from Iran, up 12 percent from $1.241 billion in fiscal year 2024-25.
Imports had stood at $1.037 billion in fiscal year 2023-24, $880 million in fiscal year 2022-23 and $773.8 million in fiscal year 2021-22.
Pakistan’s imports from Iran were around $518.6 million in fiscal year 2020-21 and approximately $440 million in fiscal year 2019-20.
The latest figures show that imports from Iran have continued to grow steadily.
