The Pakistan Army has announced new jobs for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb), General Duty Soldier, Technical Soldier, Driver, Military Police, Clerk, Cook, and Sanitary Worker under its 2026 recruitment drive.
According to the official job advertisement, eligible candidates can register from September 1 to November 23, 2026.

Vacancies Details
The Pakistan Army has announced Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) jobs for candidates with religious and general education. Applicants must have completed Dars-e-Nizami along with FA, FSc or an equivalent qualification.
General Duty Soldier jobs are available for candidates who have passed Matric. Educational relaxation is available for candidates from certain areas and children of martyrs.
Technical Soldier jobs are open to candidates who have passed Matric with Science in at least B Grade. Applicants with higher education will be preferred.
Soldier Driver jobs have also been announced. Candidates with a valid driving licence may receive preference during the recruitment process.
Military Police jobs are available for candidates who have passed Matric and meet the required physical standards.
Clerk jobs are open to candidates who have completed Intermediate in at least C Grade. Applicants with computer skills and higher education will be preferred.
Cook jobs are available for candidates who have passed Middle. Candidates with cooking experience will be given preference. Sanitary Worker jobs are open to literate candidates with education up to the Primary level.
Age Limit
The Candidates applying for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) must be between 20 and 28 years old. Serving Army personnel can apply if they are between 22 and 35 years old and have completed one to 16 years of service.
The age limit for General Duty Soldiers is 17½ to 23 years. Candidates applying for Technical Soldier jobs must be between 17½ and 23 years old.
The age limit for Soldier Drivers is 17½ to 23 years. Candidates with a valid driving licence may receive up to two years of age relaxation. Candidates applying for Military Police jobs must be between 17½ and 23 years old.
The age limit for Clerks is 17½ to 23 years. Candidates applying for Cook jobs must be between 17½ and 23 years old. The age limit for Sanitary Workers is 17½ to 35 years.
All ages will be calculated as of November 24, 2026.
Graduates and candidates with higher qualifications may receive one year of age relaxation.
Eligible candidates from Balochistan and the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may receive up to three years of relaxation.
Physical Criteria
Males applying for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) must be at least 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm) tall.
The minimum height for General Duty Soldiers, Technical Soldiers and Soldier Drivers is 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
The minimum height for Clerks, Cooks and Sanitary Workers is 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm). Candidates applying for Military Police jobs must be at least 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm) tall.
Candidates from Balochistan, the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan may receive a two-inch height relaxation.
This relaxation does not apply to Clerks, Military Police, Cooks and Sanitary Workers.
Qualification Required
The Applicant who wants to apply for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) must have completed Dars-e-Nizami from a religious institution certified by the Higher Education Commission. They must also have at least an FA, FSc, or equivalent qualification. Arabic speaking skills, Qira’at and Hifz will be considered additional qualifications.
Males applying for General Duty Soldier, Soldier Driver and Military Police jobs must have passed at least Matric.
Candidates from Balochistan, the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and children of martyrs can apply with a Middle qualification. This relaxation does not apply to Military Police candidates.
Technical Soldier applicants must have passed Matric with Science in at least B Grade. Candidates with higher education will be preferred.
Clerk applicants must have passed Intermediate in at least C Grade. Candidates from Balochistan, the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan can apply with Intermediate in D Grade. Computer skills and higher education will be preferred.
Sanitary Worker applicants must be literate. According to the advertisement, their education should be up to the Primary level. Cook applicants must have passed at least Middle. Candidates with cooking experience will be preferred.
Documents Required
Candidates must bring their original educational certificates along with two attested photocopies, four passport-size photographs, a computerized national identity card (CNIC), and a domicile certificate.
Applicants from Azad Jammu and Kashmir must also provide a State Subject Certificate. Applicants claiming any age, education, or height relaxation must bring the relevant certificate as proof.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official Pakistan Army recruitment website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
Candidates can also visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre for registration. The online registration process will remain open from September 1 to November 23, 2026.
Selection Process
Candidates applying for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) must submit their applications on the required form at the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre.
Applications will be accepted from September 1 to November 23, 2026. People for soldier jobs can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from September 1 to November 16, 2026. Online registration is not compulsory.
Applicants can also register by visiting their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre or Regimental Centre from September 1 to November 23, 2026. After registration, candidates will have to complete the required tests and other stages of the Pakistan Army selection process.
