Oppo has launched the Enco X4 true wireless earbuds alongside the Find X10 series, with upgrades focused on audio quality, noise control, AI features, and battery life.
The earbuds have been tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio’s Scandinavian sound team and support lossless audio transmission at up to 2.3Mbps and 48kHz/24-bit.
Audio and Hardware
The Enco X4 uses a fourth-generation coaxial dual-driver system with dual-DAC crossover driving.
Oppo says the setup improves separation between different parts of the audio. A polymer diaphragm handles bass, while a concentric symmetrical magnetic circuit is designed to reproduce finer details.
The company also claims low distortion across the frequency range and end-to-end lossless audio support.
Oppo has upgraded the main chipset from a 12nm process to 6nm.
The earbuds also support spatial audio, quick voice commands, head-gesture controls, and stereo recording.
Battery and Connectivity
The Enco X4 provides up to 13 hours of playback on the earbuds alone using AAC, while the charging case increases total playback time to 53 hours.
With LHDC enabled, battery life drops to up to 10 hours on the earbuds and 42 hours with the case.
The charging case supports both USB-C wired charging and wireless charging.
Each earbud weighs around 5.6 grams and carries an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 6.1, with support for AAC, SBC, LHDC, and LC3 codecs.
AI Translation
One of the new features is AI-powered real-time translation across 24 common languages.
In supported situations, one person can read the translated text on a screen while the other listens to the translation through the earbuds, reducing the need to continuously pass or hold up the phone between speakers.
Price and Availability
The Oppo Enco X4 has a regular price of around $178, while the pre-sale price is approximately $164.
Oppo has not announced global availability.
The company previously introduced a modified Enco X3s internationally in markets including the UK, Australia, and Singapore after launching the original Enco X3 in China in October 2024, meaning an international version of the Enco X4 remains possible, although nothing has been confirmed.
