Nishat Group, one of Pakistan’s largest and most established business groups, and premium new energy mobility brand LUXEED have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhu. Under the agreement, the two sides will combine their strengths and resources to introduce the LUXEED brand in Pakistan, advancing the country’s new energy mobility ecosystem through technology integration and local synergy. The signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives of both companies.
Nishat Group: A group that has shaped Pakistan’s economy
Nishat Group is one of the pillars of Pakistan’s private sector, with deep roots in textiles, cement, banking, insurance, power and agriculture. Over decades, it has built a reputation for refined operations, long-term investment and the ability to move decisively when the market changes. Its portfolio spans the full chain of manufacturing, finance and energy, giving it the resource integration capability and market reach that few groups in the country can match.
That strength is already visible in the automotive sector. Through NexGen Auto, Nishat Group brought OMODA & JAECOO to Pakistan in August 2025, backed by a USD 100 million investment and local assembly in Faisalabad. The brand has recently crossed 15,000 customer deliveries in their first year, helped by Nishat Group’s market strength, its focus on customer service and a growing network of dealerships. Recently, NexGen Auto has also introduced iCAUR to Pakistan, together with Chery Group as unveiled at PAPS 2026.
The cooperation with LUXEED International marks the next step: a strategic expansion into the premium new energy segment. By bringing advanced technology to Pakistan, Nishat Group aims to support the green transformation of the country’s automotive industry and raise the competitiveness of the local market.
What LUXEED brings
As ideas of luxury evolve around the world, a new generation of pioneering consumers is moving away from symbolic labels and looking instead for genuine driving experiences and intelligent technology. Based on in-depth research into global user needs, LUXEED has built its brand on three pillars: Intelligence, Luxury and Driving Pleasure, expressed in the proposition “I DRIVE, YOU ENJOY.”
LUXEED is a premium electric vehicle brand created through a partnership between Chery and Huawei. Operating under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), Chery handles vehicle manufacturing and engineering, while Huawei supplies its HarmonyOS smart cockpit, Qiankun ADS driver assistance, and digital drive technology.
On 21st October, LUXEED held its global brand launch event in Wuhu. The event turned it into tangible experiences: driving pleasure from the freedom of driving unleashed, luxury through perceptible safety and comfort, and intelligence that puts people first by letting technology adapt to the user.
Chery Group’s global strength
LUXEED is supported by Chery Group, which has ranked first in China’s brand passenger-vehicle exports for 23 consecutive years and has cumulative global sales of more than 20 million units. Its mature manufacturing system, global R&D network and overseas operating experience give the brand a solid base for expansion in major markets around the world. Pakistani customers already know that strength through the OMODA & JAECOO and iCAUR brands that the Nishat Group has introduced over the past 12 months.
What it means for Pakistan
Pakistan’s new energy market is growing every month, but customers who want a premium, technology-led alternative have had limited choice. This Nishat Group and LUXEED partnership aims to change that by building a complete system of products, services and ecosystem, so that buyers can count on the same standard of availability, after-sales support and trust that they expect from a Nishat Group business.
With technology innovation as its engine and customer needs as its foundation, the partnership opens a new chapter of intelligent and eco-friendly premium mobility for Pakistani consumers and adds momentum to the country’s economic and environmental progress.
Details of LUXEED models, specifications, pricing and the timeline for Pakistan will be announced by Nishat Group at a later stage.
