Lahore’s major roads are continuing to receive colorful decorative lighting, adding to the city’s appearance during the evening hours.
After Mall Road, Canal Road and Main Boulevard, Jail Road has also been decorated with new lighting installations.
Golden and white lights have been installed along Jail Road, giving the busy thoroughfare a distinctive appearance and further enhancing the city’s nighttime scenery.
The Punjab government has continued efforts to beautify major roads across Lahore through different styles of decorative lighting.
Earlier preparations also included special lighting arrangements at important locations such as Mall Road, Jail Road, Istanbul Chowk and Siddiq Centre, with illuminated monuments and decorative installations placed across the city.
The city’s horticulture and civic agencies have been carrying out these projects as part of wider efforts to improve Lahore’s visual appeal. Decorative lighting has also been installed at several major thoroughfares and prominent public spaces across the provincial capital.
The illuminated displays have transformed several prominent roads in the city, with Jail Road now joining Mall Road, Canal Road and Main Boulevard in receiving the new decorative treatment.
