Motorola Goes Big at IFA With New Phone, Watch and Snap Charger

Motorola unveiled several new products at its IFA 2026 keynote, including the Edge 70 Plus smartphone, Watch Ultra, a Swarovski edition of the Razr 70, and a new Snap magnetic wireless charger.

Motorola Edge 70 Plus

The Motorola Edge 70 Plus comes in four Pantone-certified colors: Gray Lilac, Milky Blue, Mountain View, and Sage.

Each finish has a different texture and inspiration. Mountain View uses a silk-like finish and a green shade inspired by ancient forests. Gray Lilac combines mauve and grey with an acetate finish.

Milky Blue takes inspiration from early morning skies and uses a soft-luxe texture, while Sage is a muted green inspired by eucalyptus after rain and also has a soft-luxe finish.

The phone has a quad-curved design on both the front and back. Motorola says the rounded shape removes sharp edges and makes the device more comfortable to hold.

It features a 6.78-inch Pantone-validated AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Two Hi-Res-certified stereo speakers accompany the display.

Inside, the Edge 70 Plus uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The phone has a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, up to 10x digital zoom, and 4K video recording. Motorola says this is the highest-resolution camera it has used on one of its phones.

The camera is also Pantone-validated for colors and skin tones. The phone additionally includes a dedicated macro camera and a 32MP selfie camera.

A 6,500mAh battery powers the device, with support for 45W charging and bypass charging for gaming.

The Motorola Edge 70 Plus will become available in selected European and Middle Eastern countries in the coming weeks, with prices starting at approximately $697.

Motorola Watch Ultra

Motorola also introduced the Watch Ultra, a 46mm smartwatch with IP68 and 5ATM water resistance.

The watch runs Wear OS by Google and uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset.

It features a 1.5-inch OLED display capable of reaching up to 2,700 nits of brightness. Motorola claims up to two days of active use.

Motorola partnered with Polar to expand the watch’s fitness and health-tracking features.

The Watch Ultra includes a breathing exercise mode called Setene, along with Nightly Recharge, Sleep Plus Stages, a personalized sleep score, and a Running Coach.

Additional Polar-powered features include Activity Goal, Activity Score, Active Intensity Zone, Inactivity Alert, Smart Calories and Energy Sources.

The watch supports dual-band GPS and includes built-in LTE, marking the first Motorola smartwatch capable of cellular connectivity. This allows it to operate without a connected phone.

Google Pay is also supported.

Motorola offers the stainless steel Watch Ultra in silver and black. Users can choose from standard 22mm straps, including breathable silicone straps in Pantone Black Beauty and Mountain View, as well as genuine leather straps in Pantone Black Beauty and Nuthatch.

The Motorola Watch Ultra will launch in selected markets across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America and Asia Pacific in the coming weeks.

It will cost approximately $499.

Motorola Razr 70 With Crystals by Swarovski

Motorola also expanded its Brilliant Collection with a special edition of the Razr 70, known as the Razr 2026 in the US.

The Motorola Razr 70 with Crystals by Swarovski comes exclusively in Pantone Meteorite with a quilted soft-touch finish.

Motorola has decorated the phone with 35 hand-positioned Swarovski Crystals in Silver Night. A larger 32-facet Swarovski Crystal is also built into the hinge.

A transparent protective case is included so the crystal-covered design remains visible.

Underneath the special finish, the phone retains the standard Razr 70 hardware.

It features a 3.6-inch cover display and a 6.9-inch Extreme AMOLED folding display.

The phone has a dual rear camera system led by a 50MP main camera, along with AI features and a 4,800mAh battery.

Motorola claims the battery can provide more than 36 hours of use.

The Swarovski edition will be sold as a limited edition in most markets worldwide and will cost $900 in the US.

Motorola Snap

Motorola also unveiled the Snap, a magnetic wireless charger supporting the Qi2.2 standard.

The charger delivers up to 25W through Qi2.2 and uses strong magnetic alignment to keep compatible devices in position.

It also works with compatible magnetic cases and includes protection against overheating and overcharging.

Motorola says the charger consumes no power while in standby mode.

Compatible Motorola smartphones can charge at up to 30W using the company’s proprietary charging protocol.

A 1.5-meter braided USB-C cable is included in the box.

In Europe, Motorola will also offer the Snap in a bundle with an adjustable aluminum stand featuring a silicone-lined holder and an Alcantara base.

The Snap will launch in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America, and other supported regions in the coming weeks.

It will cost approximately $46.
