More Heavy Rainfall Predicted for Different Cities

Met office has informed that monsoon currents are continuously penetrating upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is also present over upper parts of the country.

Under the influence of this weather system:

Kashmir

Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavyfalls) is expected in Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur from 21st (night) to 23rd August with occasional gaps.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa

Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavyfalls) is expected in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Nowshera, Charsadda, Swabi, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Karak, Tank, Lakki Marwat, D.I Khan, Bannu, and Waziristan from 21st (evening/night) to 23rd August with occasional gaps.

Islamabad/Upper Punjab

Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavyfalls) is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Attock, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib from 21st (evening/night) to 23rd August (morning) with occasional gaps, while in Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Noorpur, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Layyah, Bhakkar, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, and D.G. Khan on 22nd August.

Gilgit-Baltistan

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar from 21st (evening/ night) to 23rd August with occasional gaps.

Sindh and Balochistan

Mainly hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Musakhel, Barkhan, Zhob, Kalat, and Khuzdar on 21st (evening/night) and 22nd August.
