MG Motors Pakistan has added a petrol-powered variant to its second-generation MG HS lineup, giving buyers an option alongside the existing hybrid models.
The new MG HS ICE comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 165 hp and 250 Nm of torque. It pairs with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The SUV measures 4,655 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width and 1,664 mm in height, with a 2,765 mm wheelbase. It rides on 225/55 R19 tires.
For safety, the MG HS ICE offers seven airbags, ADAS capabilities and a 360-degree camera with a transparent chassis view. The cabin features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with eight speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other features include heated front seats, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, a boneless front wiper, rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors and driver’s seat memory. The driver also gets a 6-way electrically adjustable seat with 4-way electric lumbar support, while the front passenger gets a 4-way electrically adjustable seat.
The MG HS ICE will be available in York White, Black Pearl, Flare Red, Clever Grey and Cashmere Silver. Buyers will also receive 12 months of free access to MG’s iSmart app, which allows them to interact with the vehicle through a smartphone.
MG Motors Pakistan has positioned the petrol-powered HS as an alternative for buyers who prefer a conventional petrol powertrain over a hybrid system. The company has set the introductory price at PKR 8,799,999, after which the price will increase to PKR 8,999,000. Bookings are now open with a payment of PKR 1,500,000.
