Mayor Karachi Gives Opening Date for Link Road Between Shahrah-e-Faisal and Gulistan-e-Johar

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has announced that the Natha Khan Link Road, connecting Shahrah-e-Faisal with Gulistan-e-Johar, will open to the public soon. However, he did not specify an opening date.

The mayor made the announcement after reviewing ongoing development work at the site. He said the road would improve traffic flow and ease congestion on key routes.

Wahab said Karachi needed more link roads and that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) was working on their construction to improve commuting facilities.

He added that reducing traffic problems and making daily travel easier were among the city’s priorities. Road construction and rehabilitation projects, he said, were intended to address civic issues and provide relief to residents.

The mayor also said KMC teams were working on improvements around Guru Mandir and Meeruth Kebab House as part of broader efforts to upgrade roads and basic civic facilities.

Wahab reiterated that Karachi’s development and the resolution of public issues remained priorities for KMC under the Pakistan Peoples Party’s leadership.
