The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the national men’s team’s upcoming home assignments against Sri Lanka, as well as the ODI tri-series involving England.
Pakistan will first host Sri Lanka for a three-match T20I series in Rawalpindi on October 9, 11 and 13, followed by the seven-match ODI tri-series from October 18 to 31 in Rawalpindi and Lahore. The two teams will then meet in a two-match Test series in November.
For the ODI tri-series, former New Zealand cricketer Jeffrey Crowe, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will lead the playing control team throughout the tournament.
The umpiring panel for the tri-series includes ICC Elite Panel members Ahsan Raza and Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, along with ICC International Panel umpires Wayne Knights of New Zealand, Asif Yaqoob, Nasir Hussain, Rashid Riaz Waqar and Faisal Khan Aafreedi.
The final of the tri-series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on October 31.
For the T20I series against Sri Lanka, ICC International Match Referee Ali Naqvi will lead the playing control team, while Faisal Khan Aafreedi, Nasir Hussain, Rashid Riaz Waqar and Tariq Rasheed will perform umpiring duties.
The two-match Test series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27, will be overseen by Dean Cosker, a former English first-class cricketer and member of the ICC Emerging Match Referees Group.
The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, while Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the second Test from November 17 to 21.
ICC Elite Panel umpires Adrian Holdstock and Allahuddien Palekar of South Africa, along with Australia’s Rodney Tucker, will serve as on-field umpires during the Test series. Asif Yaqoob and Faisal Khan Aafreedi are also part of the umpiring panel for the two matches.
