The Jaffar Express, which operates between Quetta and Peshawar, will remain suspended for two days, Pakistan Railways officials said.
The officials said no train would depart from Quetta for Peshawar on August 25 and 26. Railway authorities have refunded the fares of passengers who had booked seats for the affected dates.
Pakistan Railways has not disclosed the reason for the suspension.
The Jaffar Express has been suspended at least three times this month. Earlier, a Peshawar to Quetta service was terminated at Jacobabad Railway Station instead of completing its journey to Quetta.
