Major General Faisal Naseer has been appointed National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) for three years.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Friday, the federal government approved Naseer’s appointment under Section 9(1) of the NACTA Act, 2013.
He has been appointed on a three-year secondment basis under standard terms and conditions, with immediate effect and until further orders.
The notification was issued with copies sent to the Prime Minister’s Office, President’s Secretariat, Cabinet Division, Interior Division, provincial chief secretaries and other relevant authorities.
