The Lahore district administration has decided to accelerate the verification process for issuing manufacturing licenses to kite makers.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Ijaz has directed all assistant commissioners to immediately complete the verification of manufacturers’ details and inspect their designated manufacturing locations.
The district administration said manufacturers have been registering for licenses since September 5. Assistant commissioners have started field inspections to verify the manufacturers and their facilities.
The administration will issue licenses only to manufacturers who meet all legal requirements and prescribed standards.
