The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has introduced a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) system for its upcoming ability tests.
According to the commission’s 17th Schedule of 2026, the first computer-based tests will begin on September 24 2026.
KPPSC will conduct the scheduled tests on computers, subject to the availability of IT labs. The commission has also advised candidates to practice the CBT format before appearing in the examination.
The first phase covers tests for several BPS-17 posts in the Home and Tribal Affairs and Agriculture departments.
Each computer-based test will include 45 multiple-choice questions based on the prescribed qualification for the relevant post.
KPPSC will upload candidates’ call letters and roll number slips on its official website. Applicants must bring a printed copy of the roll number slip along with their original CNIC to the test centre.
The commission has also advised candidates to download its CBT instruction video or tutorial and familiarise themselves with the system before the scheduled test date.
