KP LPG Price Soars to Rs. 650 Per KG
The LPG crisis has intensified in Peshawar and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the per-kilogram price reaching a record high of Rs650.
According to Express News, gas is being sold at arbitrary prices in the province despite the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) fixing the LPG price at Rs280 per kilogram for October.
The price of LPG has reached its highest level of Rs650 per kilogram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the domestic cylinder price has also crossed Rs6,000.
The government has remained silent on the price hikes. Residents say that in Peshawar and other parts of the province where natural gas is unavailable, people depend on gas cylinders, and the rising LPG prices have caused distress among citizens.
