KP Launches e-Fard Portal For Easy Access to Land Services

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Muhammad Sohail Afridi launched the e-Fard Portal and Digital Public Feedback System as part of the provincial government’s efforts to digitize land record services.

According to an official statement, the new system is aimed at making land-related services more accessible, transparent and efficient for citizens.

Under the e-Fard Portal, people will no longer need to make repeated visits to revenue offices to obtain a Fard. The service will be available through NADRA e-Sahulat Centers, the official self-service website and the Dastak App.

Officials briefed the chief minister that only users verified biometrically through NADRA will be able to download an e-Fard. The prescribed fee can be paid electronically into the government treasury through 1LINK and Easypaisa.

Once payment is completed, the Fard will remain available in the citizen’s account and can be downloaded whenever required. Each document will also include a QR code that can be used to verify it online against the central land record.

CM Afridi said the digitization of land records was important for modernizing public service delivery and improving the speed and convenience of revenue services.

The chief minister was also briefed on the Digital Public Feedback System, which will collect feedback from citizens who have used revenue services.

Under the system, selected citizens will receive randomized telephone calls regarding their service experience. Their responses will be recorded in audio form, while satisfaction levels will be divided into four categories.

Complaints from dissatisfied citizens will automatically appear on the dashboard of the relevant deputy commissioner, allowing authorities to identify delays, service gaps and other performance issues.

Citizen feedback will also be used to monitor district-level performance and satisfaction. The feedback indicators will form part of the performance assessment framework reviewed during the monthly meetings of deputy commissioners.

Districts showing strong performance will be recognized and encouraged, while weaker-performing districts will be required to explain shortcomings and take corrective measures.

CM Afridi said the digital reforms would help reduce land-related complaints while strengthening transparency, accountability and public trust in the land record system.
