Heat intensity has continued to rise in Karachi since the first week of September, while the meteorological department has warned that October is also likely to remain warmer than usual.
On September 21, Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 40.7 degrees Celsius, the city’s hottest day since September 2017.
The previous day, the city’s maximum temperature was recorded at 39.1 degrees Celsius, while today’s weather is expected to remain hot and humid with clear skies and temperatures likely to rise to 38 degrees Celsius.
