Jetour has launched the facelifted T2, sold as the Traveler 7 in China, with revised styling, an updated interior and new petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The update comes only weeks after the SUV was refreshed at the Chengdu Motor Show. It is also notable for Pakistan, where the T2 has only recently entered the market.
Jetour launched the T2 i-DM PHEV in July 2026, followed by the 2.0 XWD petrol variants in August. Local CKD assembly of the T2 i-DM also began earlier this month.
Exterior Design Gets a Cleaner Look
The facelift retains the T2’s boxy proportions but reduces some of its previous rugged styling elements.
The front now features round headlights connected by a full-width light strip, replacing the previous square units. Jetour lettering has also been moved higher onto the bonnet, while the bumpers are now more integrated and body-colored.
At the rear, the SUV retains its vertical four-point taillights but receives a redesigned spoiler, smoother D-pillar treatment and a revised bumper. Several previously black exterior components, including the wheel-arch flares, are now finished in the body color.
New Petrol and Plug-In Hybrid Powertrains
The Chinese-market facelift continues to offer petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The entry-level petrol model uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 184 PS and 290 Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive.
Higher petrol variants receive a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 250 hp and 390 Nm, along with all-wheel drive. The top version now uses an eight-speed automatic transmission instead of the previous gearbox setup.
The bigger technical change comes with the T2 i-DM PHEV. It retains a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 153 hp and 220 Nm, but its hybrid system now uses a single 307 PS electric motor and a one-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, replacing the previous three-speed DHT.

Jetour claims up to 1,400 km of combined range under the CLTC cycle with the larger battery and a 70-liter fuel tank.
For comparison, the Pakistan-spec T2 i-DM currently uses an 18.4 kWh battery and has a claimed 90 km NEDC electric range.
Interior Gains More Technology
The facelift retains the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 15.6-inch infotainment display, but the central screen now uses a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 processor, paired with 24GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The updated cabin also adds 10-way electrically adjustable seats, eight-point seat massage, a 23-speaker audio system, 256-color ambient lighting, a revised steering wheel, wireless phone charging and updated AI-based voice controls.
Driver-assistance technology has also been upgraded. Petrol models receive Chery’s Falcon 500 system, while the PHEV gets Huawei’s Qiankun ADS5 technology.
China Pricing
In China, the petrol versions of the facelifted T2 are priced between 149,900 yuan ($21,300) and 169,900 yuan ($24,100).
The PHEV versions are priced from 159,900 yuan ($22,700) to 179,900 yuan ($25,500).
Pakistan T2 Has Only Just Arrived
The facelift comes at an important time for Jetour in Pakistan because the current T2 has only recently been introduced locally.
The T2 i-DM PHEV launched at an ex-factory price of Rs. 12,795,000, while the 2.0 XWD costs Rs. 13,590,000 and the 2.0 XWD Dominator Kit is priced at Rs. 15,590,000.

Jetour also reported more than 1,000 bookings within 24 hours of the T2 i-DM launch. The company has already started local CKD assembly of the T2 i-DM.
