Islamabad Launches Home Delivery Service for Driving Licenses

Islamabad Traffic Police has introduced a new home delivery service that will allow citizens to receive their driving licenses at their doorstep.

According to an official announcement, the traffic police has partnered with TCS to deliver driving licenses directly to applicants instead of requiring them to visit the traffic police office for collection.

The initiative is aimed at making the licensing process more convenient for residents of the federal capital. Authorities said the service will provide fast and secure delivery while also helping citizens save time.

Under the new arrangement, completed driving licenses will be dispatched through TCS and delivered to the applicant’s provided address.

Islamabad Traffic Police highlighted three main benefits of the initiative: time savings, safe and quick delivery, and doorstep convenience.

The department described the service as another step towards improving public facilitation and making traffic-related services easier to access.

The announcement, however, does not specify the delivery charges or provide details on whether the facility applies to all categories of driving licenses, including new licenses and renewals.
