Islamabad Traffic Police has introduced a special facility to help college and university students obtain motorcycle driving licenses more quickly.
Under the initiative, students can obtain their motorcycle licenses on the same day without completing the usual 42-day learning period, Islamabad Traffic Police spokesperson said.
The facility will remain available from November 1 through November 30, 2026. Students who want to use the service must visit the Islamabad Traffic Police Headquarters to complete the licensing process.
Chief Traffic Officer Kainat Azhar Khan said the initiative aims to help young people obtain motorcycle licenses in line with legal requirements and encourage them to follow traffic rules.
Islamabad Traffic Police hopes the initiative will make the licensing process easier for students while promoting lawful driving and road safety.
