iQOO has launched the iQOO Buds alongside the iQOO Z11 5G. The new wireless earbuds focus on long battery life, low gaming latency, and convenient connectivity features at an affordable price.
Design and Battery
Each earbud weighs around 3.8 grams, while the earbuds and charging case together weigh approximately 41.3 grams. The earbuds use an in-ear design with stems and come with three pairs of ear tips in small, medium, and large sizes.
They also carry an IP54 rating for resistance against dust and splashes.
Each earbud contains a minimum-rated 51mAh battery, while the charging case has a rated capacity of 513mAh. The earbuds can provide up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge. With the charging case, total battery life increases to up to 50 hours.
Charging the earbuds takes around 60 minutes, while fully charging the earbuds and case takes approximately 120 minutes.
Audio and Features
The iQOO Buds feature a 10mm high-resolution moving coil driver with a frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz.
They use the BES2710IUC3 audio chip and support AAC and SBC audio codecs. iQOO has also included DeepX sound effects.
For calls, the earbuds come with dual microphones and beamforming-based Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to improve voice clarity. However, they do not support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
The earbuds also support touch controls, including double-tap, triple-tap, and touch-and-hold gestures.
Connectivity and Gaming
The iQOO Buds support Bluetooth 6.1 and can remain connected to two devices at the same time, allowing users to switch between them when needed.
They also support instant pairing and offer a gaming latency of 42ms.
Another feature allows users with compatible iQOO and Vivo smartphones to remotely control the phone’s camera and take photos using the earbuds.
Price and Availability
The iQOO Buds are available in Flame Yellow and are priced at $20.
Sales will begin on August 24 at 12 PM through Amazon.
