Infinix Note 70 is Bringing This Key Upgrade Over Its Predecessor

The upcoming Infinix Note 70 Pro could bring a notable battery upgrade over its predecessor, the Note 60 Pro, with leaked specifications pointing to a 7,000 mAh battery. The phone has also appeared in multiple certification databases, suggesting that its launch could be approaching.

An Infinix smartphone with model number X6766 has now been listed by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which confirms its marketing name as the Infinix Note 70 Pro. However, the listing does not reveal hardware specifications, as it mainly covers encryption-related documentation.

Bigger Battery, Familiar Hardware

The reported 7,000 mAh battery appears to be the biggest upgrade over the Note 60 Pro, as most of the other leaked specifications suggest relatively modest changes.

A DevCheck hardware listing revealed that the Note 70 Pro is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone is also listed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The device is reportedly equipped with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

Launch May Be Approaching

The X6766 model number previously appeared in the GSMA IMEI database in August. Its subsequent appearance in the EEC database adds to the evidence that Infinix is preparing the phone for release.

EEC certification can appear several weeks or months before a device reaches the market, although the listing does not confirm a launch date. Infinix has yet to officially announce the Note 70 Pro or confirm its specifications.
