India Threatens Pakistan With Bigger Attack Than 2025 War

Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has threatened Pakistan with a larger military strike than previous operations if India faces another terrorist attack that it links to Pakistani territory.

Speaking at the Times Network National Defence Conclave in New Delhi on Thursday, October 15, Singh warned that any further terrorist activity originating from Pakistan would trigger a stronger military response.

Referring to India’s previous military operations, Singh said New Delhi had adopted a more aggressive approach towards what it describes as cross-border terrorism.

The minister cited the 2016 surgical strikes, the 2019 Balakot airstrikes and Operation Sindoor as examples of India’s military response to security threats.

He claimed that the operations demonstrated India’s shift from diplomatic condemnation towards direct military action against suspected militant targets.

Singh also stated that India’s commitment to peace should not be mistaken for weakness. He said New Delhi supported dialogue and peaceful solutions. However, India remained ready to use military force to protect its sovereignty and national interests.

India’s Ministry of Defence later confirmed his remarks in an official statement. It repeated the warning of a stronger response to any future attack blamed on Pakistan.
