IESCO Announces Power Outages in Islamabad, Rawalpindi

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power suspension schedule for Thursday in several areas of its service region due to maintenance and routine development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply from the Pir Sohawa feeder in the Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 8 a.m. to noon. In the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity supply from the Basali, Old Rawat, AOWHS, Suparco and CWO feeders will remain suspended from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In the Jhelum Circle, power supply from the Industrial, Chamala, City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, F-2 (Chip Board), Langar Pur, Pakhwal and F-10 (Kala Base) feeders will remain suspended from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In the Chakwal Circle, electricity supply from the Jamal Wal and Mengan feeders will remain suspended from 6 a.m. to noon. In the GSO Circle, power supply at the 132KV GSS Rawat-II power transformer T-1 will remain suspended from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

IESCO will also suspend power supply from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 132KV AWC HMC Taxila and 132KV Sangjani-Burhan. The company will suspend supply from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 132KV Kahuta City-Palandri and 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore, along with the related earth switch and surrounding areas.
