Huawei Launches It’s Most Powerful Smartphone to Date

Huawei has launched the Mate 90 Pro Max in China with a strong focus on photography, combining a 200MP RYYB telephoto camera with an optional 1-inch modular camera system.

The flagship also features a 6.9-inch dual-layer OLED display, a 6,800mAh battery, and Huawei’s Kirin 9050 Pro chipset on selected variants.

Design and Display

The Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch dual-layer OLED display with a resolution of 2848 × 1320 pixels.

The panel supports an adaptive 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and up to 12,000 nits of local peak brightness.

It also covers the BT.2020 color gamut and uses Kunlun Glass for protection. The Collector’s Edition upgrades this to Basalt Kunlun Glass.

The phone is available in Rose Gold, Jade Green, Crystal White, and Obsidian Black and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings.
